Reliance ADA Group chairman Anil Ambani on Monday appeared before the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in Mumbai and recorded his statement in connection with an investigation linked to the alleged contravention of the foreign exchange law, official sources said. The pilot project for central bank digital currency (CBDC) in the retail segment went live on Thursday with the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) issuing Rs 1.71 crore to four participating banks based on their indents.
